Group Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

SF Partners is seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager for a growing business in South Birmingham. The role combines financial planning & analysis with group reporting and consolidation responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Group forecast models covering profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Analyse cash flows, liquidity and working capital, providing insight for funding requirements.
• Support annual budgeting, long‑range planning and strategic forecasting.
• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation process in line with FRS 102, ensuring accurate financial statements.
• Produce the Group management accounts pack with variance commentary and KPI analysis.
• Coordinate month‑end close, board and shareholder reporting and liaise with auditors and external advisors.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in FP&A and financial reporting.
• Proven experience of group consolidation, budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards (FRS 102) and statutory reporting.
• Ability to deliver insights to senior executives and support strategic decision‑making.
