Finance Systems & Transformation Manager

About the role

Altum Consulting is seeking a Finance Systems & Transformation Manager to lead the finance systems roadmap for a high‑growth, multi‑entity business. The role sits at the intersection of finance, technology and change, driving the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and shaping the future‑state finance operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Act as the primary finance representative throughout the ERP transition.
• Design and embed scalable finance processes, controls and procedures.
• Define the future‑state finance systems landscape and operating model.
• Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvement and process efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and reporting capability across finance systems.
• Manage system updates, enhancements, integrations and improvement requests.
• Support change management, training and adoption for finance users.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance systems management and ERP implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes such as record‑to‑report, procure‑to‑pay and order‑to‑cash.
• Experience designing and improving finance processes, controls and procedures.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Finance, IT and broader business functions.
• Analytical problem‑solving ability with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is beneficial.
