Financial Controller – Private Equity SaaS

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Financial Controller to join the leadership team of a high‑growth, private‑equity backed SaaS business. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will help professionalise the finance function and support a planned exit within two years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial accounting activities across the Group, including month‑end, year‑end and statutory reporting.
• Own the external audit process and manage relationships with auditors and other stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Drive optimisation and automation of NetSuite and other finance systems.
• Ensure clean, reliable, and actionable financial data for the organisation.
• Partner with senior business leaders to provide strategic financial insight.
• Produce high‑quality reporting for the Board, Executive Team and private‑equity investors.
• Support the CFO and investment team with value‑creation initiatives and finance transformation ahead of an exit.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a high‑growth, SaaS or technology environment.
• Experience working with private‑equity investors and supporting exit‑oriented finance transformations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Track record of implementing robust financial controls and governance.
