Floating Service Technician

About the role

The Floating Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of Greystar’s residential properties in Westminster. This onsite role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company procedures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordination with vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and compliance.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in building or property maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, safety guidelines and local code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Good communication skills to interact with residents, vendors and team members.
