FLT/Material Handler – Inventory

About the role

Join the Goods In department as a FLT/Material Handler on a temp‑to‑perm basis. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and accurately recording incoming stock while maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unpack goods, booking them in JD Edwards.
• Locate bulk and pre‑pack items in hazard‑controlled warehouses.
• Pick stock for repack orders and process returns.
• Perform cycle counts according to work instructions.
• Handle fine chemicals in line with CEM regulations.
• Maintain consumable stock levels and manage requisitions.
• Operate equipment safely, reporting any defects.
• Follow site security, environmental, quality and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid FLT licence with relevant handling experience.
• Familiarity with third‑party systems such as courier services and MSDS.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

What we offer

• Hourly rate starting at £13.20, rising to £13.53 after 12 months.
