Front Office Project Manager – Investment Management (Contract)

About the role

Leading investment manager seeks an experienced Front Office Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives, technology implementations, operating model changes and business transformation programmes. The role covers the full project lifecycle, working closely with business sponsors, technology teams, data and operations groups, external vendors and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of strategic projects, technology implementations and business transformation programmes.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, objectives, success criteria and detailed project plans.
• Manage execution across multiple workstreams, track progress, resolve blockers and ensure projects stay on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate Aladdin‑related implementation activities including requirements gathering, design, data readiness, system configuration, testing and go‑live preparation.
• Establish and maintain project governance, produce status reports for senior management and manage risk, issue and change control processes.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, facilitate meetings and drive accountability across all project participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in investment management.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale platform implementations such as BlackRock Aladdin.
• Strong governance, risk and issue management capabilities in a fast‑paced financial services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leadership.
