Full-Time Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our luxury resort in Knutsford. In this full-time position you will ensure guest rooms are immaculate, comfortable and reflect the high standards of Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and service guest rooms to Fairmont’s luxury standards.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms and amenities.
• Replenish linens, towels and supplies with care.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle guest belongings and privacy with discretion.
• Support VIP room preparations with personalised touches.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys and storage areas organized and stocked.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with floor supervisors, housekeeping and front office to ensure timely room readiness.
• Follow deep‑cleaning schedules, health, safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and manual handling.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and room presentation.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations (training can be provided).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time‑management and task‑prioritisation skills.
• Professional, courteous and guest‑focused attitude.
