About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate RE Teacher to join a Good‑rated secondary school in Brent from September 2026. The school prides itself on excellent behaviour, strong senior leadership and a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Religious Education lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Develop an engaging, challenging curriculum that meets statutory requirements.
- Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect and curiosity.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a cohesive approach to RE across the school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching RE at secondary level, preferably across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Effective classroom management and a proactive, positive attitude.
Required skills
- Curriculum design for Religious Education.
- Lesson planning and assessment.
- Classroom management techniques.
