About the role

Corpay is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join its Alpha Group division in London. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience developing secure, scalable FinTech software while working alongside seasoned engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software components under guidance, adhering to coding standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code and incorporate feedback.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and resolving bugs.
• Participate in stand‑ups, code reviews, and team discussions.
• Collaborate with teammates to translate project requirements into technical tasks.
• Learn and apply secure development practices.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of existing systems.
• Gain exposure to cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and database management.
• Contribute to technical documentation and communicate progress to mentors.

Required profile

• 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Commercially aware mindset with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Understanding of cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of database management.
