About the role
Our client is seeking an urgent requirement to join their Governance, Risk and Cyber team. This role will be initially a fixed‑term contract with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. The position requires you to work onsite in the office four days a week at their Teesside location.
Key responsibilities
- Provide additional capacity and expertise within the Governance, Risk and Cyber team.
- Ensure continuity across governance, cyber risk and compliance activities during the transition period.
- Governance, Risk, Compliance and Cyber responsibilities sit within the same functional area.
- Coordinate multiple specialist third‑party suppliers for security operations and cyber services.
- Act as internal coordinator and owner of supplier relationships, ensuring security services and platforms operate effectively.
- Support cyber governance, risk management, incident coordination and compliance activities rather than deep technical cyber engineering.
