Group Finance Business Analyst

About the role

Ambition Europe Limited is seeking a Group Finance Business Analyst to join its Business Management team. This role offers hands‑on experience supporting senior finance leaders with performance analysis, business planning and decision‑making across the firm. The position is open to candidates based in any UK office, with a primary focus on London.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end processes, including data collection, reconciliations and draft commentary.
• Support reporting on key performance indicators, utilisation and trading performance.
• Maintain budgets and forecasts within the finance systems.
• Respond to financial queries from stakeholders across the business.
• Contribute to resource planning, headcount tracking and preparation of leadership meeting materials.
• Provide pricing analysis and financial input into client proposals.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and new system roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with finance teams on cross‑functional projects and firm‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Studying towards, or interested in, ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience in a finance, analytical or business support role.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, confident when engaging stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capability.
