Group Finance Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead financial reporting, controls and performance across a portfolio of premium hotels, restaurants and members' clubs in the UK and Europe. This hands‑on position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment and enjoys close partnership with operational teams and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly management accounts process, consolidating results across multiple hotel, restaurant and club entities.
- Prepare accurate group reporting packs for the Executive team and Board, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Manage the year‑end statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors across all entities.
- Oversee cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital management for the group.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, collaborating with General Managers and Heads of Department.
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures across a growing multi‑entity structure.
- Ensure VAT, tax and statutory compliance for UK and relevant international entities.
- Partner with operational teams to improve commercial performance, cost control and site profitability.
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects such as new site openings, system implementations and process improvements.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
Required profile
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
- Prior experience in hospitality, leisure, retail or other multi‑site consumer businesses.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially month‑end close, consolidations and statutory reporting.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast‑moving environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with non‑finance stakeholders.
- High attention to detail combined with a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
- Genuine interest in luxury hospitality and delivering excellence.
