Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the global finance function of a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed design company. Reporting to the CFO, you will own external reporting, governance and financial control across multiple regions, supporting senior stakeholders and preparing the business for a potential future exit.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the central finance team and oversee shared‑service and regional finance teams worldwide.
• Manage group consolidation, month‑end close, and the production of high‑quality financial statements.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, treasury operations and foreign‑exchange risk management.
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and audit readiness across all jurisdictions.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to the CFO, board, shareholders and lenders.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with extensive experience in a multinational, private‑equity environment.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence strategic decisions.
• Track record of building and developing high‑performing, geographically dispersed finance teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
