Group Financial Controller

About the role

This is a senior finance leadership position within a high‑growth international tech business that has recently been acquired by a larger corporate group. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a finance team of around 20 professionals and shape a scalable, best‑in‑class finance organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring accurate statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead consolidated reporting, month‑end close activities and manage external audit relationships.
• Develop and manage finance operations including reporting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, payroll, procurement and finance systems.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, process efficiencies and integration of new finance systems.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and SOX readiness.
• Manage banking, treasury and foreign‑exchange activities, optimise liquidity and working capital.
• Coach and develop a geographically dispersed finance team and partner with senior leadership on strategic projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Group Finance, Financial Control or Head of Finance leadership roles.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience in complex, multi‑entity international businesses.
• Proven success leading finance transformation programmes.
• Exposure to SOX compliance, governance and listed‑company environments.
