Head of Business – Automotive Retail (Kent)

About the role

An exciting senior leadership opportunity has opened for a Head of Business to steer a successful automotive retail operation in Kent. You will be accountable for overall performance, profitability and customer satisfaction across all dealership departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall business performance across sales, after‑sales and finance.
• Develop and deliver strategic business plans to drive growth.
• Maximise profitability, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Oversee stock control, cash flow and financial performance.
• Lead, manage and develop a high‑performing management team.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and retention levels.
• Maintain compliance with all manufacturer and industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior automotive management role (Head of Business / General Manager level).
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering results.
• Excellent leadership and team development skills.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations and performance drivers.
• Customer‑focused with a commitment to high standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
