Head of High Frequency Research Market Making - Crypto Live Trading

About the role

We are a boutique, high‑performance trading firm focused on market‑making strategies in crypto markets, primarily on Binance. As Head of High Frequency Research, you will lead the evolution of our market‑making and short‑horizon trading strategies, directly influencing live P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research on market‑making and short‑term trading strategies.
• Reassess, validate, and improve existing live strategies.
• Identify structural weaknesses and design new micro‑structure‑driven strategies from first principles.
• Extract signals from order‑book dynamics, trade flow, and short‑term price formation.
• Collaborate with engineers to move ideas into production quickly.
• Analyse live performance in real time and iterate continuously.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in HFT, market‑making, or systematic short‑horizon trading.
• Proven exposure to live trading environments, not just back‑testing.
• Deep understanding of order‑book mechanics, execution quality, slippage, and adverse selection.
• Strong intuition for micro‑structure and short‑horizon alpha generation.
