Head of Property Services

About the role

The Head of Property Services will lead Manningham Housing Association’s repairs, maintenance and compliance functions. This senior position is responsible for delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective services that keep homes safe, well‑maintained and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for repairs, maintenance and health‑and‑safety compliance services.
• Motivate and manage the Property Services team, including senior surveyors and compliance staff.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are delivered to top‑quartile performance standards and high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain robust systems, policies and procedures for property health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Create and implement annual service improvement and strategic planning documents.
• Oversee complex budgets, ensuring value for money and financial control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior property services or housing‑association leadership.
• Strong track record of managing large teams and multi‑million‑pound budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance, improve service quality and ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
