Head of Treasury – London

About the role

The Head of Treasury will join a UK‑regulated financial institution at a pivotal growth stage. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will shape treasury strategy, liquidity, funding and capital management to support an expanding balance sheet.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the treasury function, covering liquidity, funding and capital management.
• Develop and execute treasury strategies that support profitable and sustainable growth.
• Drive the development of treasury products and enhance client‑related treasury capabilities.
• Strengthen liquidity management, forecasting and stress‑testing methodologies.
• Oversee interest‑rate risk, foreign‑exchange risk, counterparty risk and balance‑sheet management.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with funding partners, market counterparties and key stakeholders.
• Deliver treasury reporting, analysis and recommendations to executive and governance committees.
• Support prudential requirements, including capital and liquidity planning.
• Continue the development of treasury infrastructure, systems, controls and policies.
• Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Operations and business teams.
• Lead, develop and mentor treasury personnel while promoting a strong risk and compliance culture.
• Manage FX and investment activities within approved risk parameters and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior treasury leadership experience within a bank or regulated financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of liquidity, funding, capital and asset‑liability management.
• Experience managing market risk, FX activities and balance‑sheet risk.
• Proven ability to interact with executive leadership, board committees and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of developing treasury strategy and driving growth.
