HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time Transport Role

About the role

Join Booker’s Transport Team as an HGV Class 1 Driver, delivering stock to independent retailer stores across the South East. The position is full‑time, 48 hours per week on a rotating two‑week shift pattern, with start times between 07:00 and 11:00.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver stock to multiple retailer locations each day.
• Perform handballing and manual handling of goods, often in adverse weather.
• Handle multi‑drop routes, including temperature‑controlled food deliveries where required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and keep the vehicle CPC up to date.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Physical capability for manual handling and outdoor work.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and shift times.
