About the role

Join Barclays' growing Private Banking team in London as a High‑Net‑Worth Private Banker. You will act as a trusted advisor to affluent clients, delivering bespoke banking, lending and wealth‑structuring solutions while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW clients, understanding their financial goals, risk appetite and providing tailored advice.
• Identify, onboard and retain new clients through networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct regular reviews of investment and financial portfolios, advising on asset allocation, estate planning and offshore structuring where relevant.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, delivering exceptional service and negotiating optimal commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Private Banker with a client base holding a minimum of £3 million investable assets.
• RDR Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) covering securities and derivatives.
• Strong track record in risk monitoring and control within a client book.
• Deep knowledge of global economic, political and market trends and their impact on clients.
