About the role
We are looking for a motivated HLTA, Early Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced teacher to join a small, outstanding primary school in the Wigan area. The position is full‑time, based in the Reception/EYFS class and starts in September. It offers a supportive environment with strong staffing ratios, allowing you to gain valuable EYFS experience while contributing to a nurturing community.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering the Reception curriculum and daily routines.
- Assist with planning and delivering outdoor learning, creative activities and wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for young children.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience in Reception or EYFS is preferred.
- Passionate about early years education and child development.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and nurturing in approach.
- Available to start in September.
