Housing Partner – Property Management (South West)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced housing professional to join our South West Housing Partnership team on a permanent basis. You will manage a patch of up to 600 properties in the Somerset area, delivering proactive tenancy and property‑management services while supporting customers and neighbours.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tenancy management and neighbourhood services across the assigned patch.
- Attend training, team meetings and collaboration days at the Yeovil office.
- Respond to customer enquiries and maintain high‑quality housing standards.
- Manage breaches of tenancy, court processes and legal housing procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local service providers and multi‑agency partners.
- Ensure neighbourhoods are clean, safe and attractive for residents.
Required profile
- Access to a personal vehicle and ability to travel daily across the region.
- CIH Level 3 housing qualification or commitment to enrol within the first year (funded by Abri).
- Experience using customer management systems to record contacts.
- Proven ability to handle challenging situations and influence positive outcomes.
- Experience with legal housing management processes and court case handling.
- Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload and meet performance targets.
