HR Adviser – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home)

About the role

Adore Recruitment is seeking an HR Adviser to join a market‑leading organisation in Southend‑on‑Sea. The role is hybrid, offering three days in the office and two days remote, and provides the chance to influence people strategy while remaining hands‑on across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee retention initiatives.
• Assist with learning and development programmes.
• Produce and analyse HR data to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Support salary reviews, reward initiatives and benefits administration.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Adviser, HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• Good knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
