HR and Internal Recruitment Assistant

About the role

This part‑time, three‑month fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience in both HR administration and internal recruitment within a hybrid Belfast setting. You will be the first point of contact for recruitment queries and support the wider HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, process new‑starter paperwork, right‑to‑work checks and onboarding.
• Manage the end‑to‑end internal vacancy process: posting adverts, sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews and issuing offer letters.
• Support HR projects, keep policies and the intranet handbook up to date, and handle employee data in line with GDPR.
• Track internal recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill and internal fill rate.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years practical experience in HR administration or internal recruitment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Formal HR qualification (or currently working toward one).

Required skills

• Proficiency with an HR Information System (HRIS).
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
