HSE & Facilities Site Lead

About the role

KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family, is looking for an HSE & Facilities Site Lead to join its Ashby site Leadership Team. The site runs 24/7 with more than 650 colleagues and is home to brands such as Hula Hoops, Space Raiders and Nik Naks. You will shape and deliver the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy, drive compliance and build a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures that ensure legal compliance and support safe, sustainable operations
• Drive a proactive safety culture through engagement, coaching and capability building
• Lead and develop the HSE Advisors and Facilities Lead team
• Provide HSE guidance, risk assessment and compliance leadership for strategic projects and capital investment programmes
• Manage risk through governance, auditing, incident investigation and performance analysis, and manage budgets and improvement plans

Required profile

• Professional HSE expertise with a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 equivalent
• Experience leading and developing teams, coaching colleagues and influencing at all levels
• Manufacturing experience, ideally food manufacturing or FMCG
• IEMA Environmental Diploma or Certificate, with a willingness to keep developing

Required skills

• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, risk management and ISO standards
• Ability to challenge constructively and communicate effectively
