Human Resources Advisor – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Advisor to provide a comprehensive generalist HR service across our multi‑site organisation. Based in Leeds with hybrid working, you will partner with managers and employees to deliver pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, performance management and absence.
- Support investigations, meetings and HR casework.
- Manage probation reviews and contractual changes.
- Advise on family‑friendly policies and employee entitlements.
- Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records.
- Support HR training initiatives and develop manager capability.
Required profile
- Confident and organised HR professional with strong communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience in a generalist HR admin, assistant or advisor role.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards) – preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- High attention to detail and analytical capability.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
