IAM Consultant/Developer – Remote (UK)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IAM Consultant/Developer to join Colibri Digital’s client engagements, focusing on a major Microsoft Entra ID implementation. This contract role is fully remote within the UK and involves both architecture design and practical migration delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing identity estates (on‑prem AD, Okta, Ping, etc.) and design target‑state architecture in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Plan and execute phased migration cut‑overs, minimizing disruption to live services.
• Configure hybrid identity synchronization using Entra Connect or Entra Cloud Sync.
• Implement MFA, Conditional Access policies and password‑less sign‑in aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Migrate or re‑establish SSO for enterprise applications using SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
• Deploy Privileged Identity Management, Entitlement Management and Access Reviews, then provide runbooks for handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale migrations to Microsoft Entra ID (500k+ users) from on‑prem AD or third‑party IdPs.
• Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, Zero Trust security models and modern authentication protocols.
• Hands‑on PowerShell scripting experience, preferably with Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK.
• Ability to work independently and communicate migration risks/status to non‑technical stakeholders.
