Indirect Tax Senior Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to lead statutory and regulatory reporting and indirect tax operations across the UK and Europe. This newly created senior position will ensure compliance, advise on complex tax and transfer pricing matters, and support group reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee statutory and regulatory indirect tax reporting for the UK and European jurisdictions.
• Provide expert advice on complex tax issues, including transfer pricing.
• Manage statutory and management reporting processes across the Group.
• Ensure compliance with VAT rules throughout Europe.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to embed tax considerations into decision‑making.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5‑7 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in indirect tax, particularly VAT, across European markets.
• Previous experience in a Big 4 professional services firm.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of European VAT legislation.
• Experience with statutory and management reporting.
