Individual Giving Officer – Fundraising (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading medical charity to hire an Individual Giving Officer who will join the fundraising team. Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, you will help expand and optimise the charity’s individual giving programme, covering face‑to‑face fundraising, in‑memoriam giving and direct‑mail appeals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the launch and day‑to‑day management of a new face‑to‑face fundraising programme, including production of marketing materials, supporter training and data handling.
• Develop and grow in‑memoriam giving streams such as tribute funds, focusing on donor retention and lifetime value.
• Assist multi‑channel direct‑mail appeals, using CRM segmentation and campaign testing to improve performance throughout the financial year.

Required profile

• Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, with a track record of delivering at least one income stream (e.g., regular giving or in‑memoriam programmes).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate fundraising campaigns and manage supporter data.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for campaign delivery and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital fundraising tools.
• Excellent written communication for creating supporter‑facing content.
