Industrial Electrician – Lead Manufacturing

About the role

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and PLC experience looking to join a leading UK manufacturer? You will work on modern, high‑tech industrial equipment, receive ongoing training and development, and boost your earnings through shift allowance and overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery such as furnaces, casting machines, conveyors and mixers.
• Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on PLC‑controlled systems to minimise breakdowns.
• Mechanical repairs including motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, valves and hydraulics.
• Working a rotating shift schedule (6 am‑2 pm and 2 pm‑10 pm) with a 25 % shift allowance.

Required profile

• Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience in industrial environments.
• Willingness to commute to the factory in Chester (also accessible from Liverpool, Stoke‑on‑Trent and Wrexham).

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Electrical maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Industrial machinery fault diagnosis.
• Mechanical repair of pumps, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulic systems.
