Inside Sales Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Envirogen, a specialist water treatment and process filtration business serving customers across the UK, Europe and North America, is looking for a driven, commercially minded Inside Sales Specialist. This is a remote role focused on relationships and recurring business, with a competitive base salary of £28,000-£32,000, on-target earnings of £36,000-£42,000 and an accelerating commission scheme. There is a 6-month fixed-term contract with real potential for a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new opportunities through outbound calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and email
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers and identify their filtration needs
• Recommend the right filter cartridges, bags and sheets and secure product trials and demonstrations
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling, and convert enquiries and quotations into repeat orders
• Keep an accurate, healthy pipeline in the CRM system
• Work with field sales, technical and operations teams and hit or beat monthly, quarterly and annual targets

Required profile

• Proven success in a B2B sales role, ideally selling industrial, technical or engineered products
• Track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
• Confidence building relationships by phone and on Teams, and strong commercial awareness
• Self-motivated and organised, able to manage several opportunities at once
• Comfortable with technical products and able to explain them simply
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent; a full UK driving licence is helpful for occasional visits
