Interim ADP Payroll Specialist (Hybrid) – £200‑£250 per day

About the role

This interim position supports a high‑volume UK payroll function for a global organisation. Working on a hybrid basis, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end payroll processing using the ADP system and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process full monthly UK payroll cycles through ADP
• Maintain accurate employee payroll data for salaried, hourly and variable‑paid staff
• Manage PAYE, National Insurance, RTI submissions and HMRC compliance
• Perform payroll reconciliations, month‑end reporting and audit support
• Resolve payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end UK payroll
• Strong hands‑on expertise with ADP payroll systems (essential)
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, complex payroll environment
• Excellent knowledge of PAYE, RTI, pensions and HMRC legislation
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Available to start on short notice
