Interim FP&A Analyst – Commercial Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking an Interim FP&A Analyst for a blue‑chip commercial real‑estate investment business. The role is initially for 3‑6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension, and will support the finance team in analysing and reporting on a multi‑billion‑pound property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare analysis and reporting on real‑estate portfolio performance.
• Review actuals versus budget and forecast, identify key variances and trends.
• Support the production of monthly and quarterly reporting packs for internal stakeholders.
• Analyse income, costs, cash flow and portfolio‑level performance data.
• Collaborate with finance and asset‑management teams to ensure accurate and insightful reporting.
• Use Excel to manipulate, analyse and present large volumes of financial data.

Required profile

• Previous experience in real estate, property investment, asset management or fund accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing commentary on financial performance.
• Good understanding of management accounts, balance‑sheet and P&L reporting.
• Proactive, detail‑focused approach and ability to work to deadlines.
