Interim Tax Manager – FinTech (6+ months, potential perm)

About the role

We are partnering with a globally recognised FinTech company that is scaling a product with significant world impact. The role offers the chance to own tax compliance across the group, work directly with senior stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of how tax supports rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance for the group’s global entities.
• Own the relationship with outsourced tax compliance providers.
• Support preparation of US GAAP tax provisions and tax disclosures for statutory accounts and group reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and external advisors on compliance queries.
• Ensure tax compliance requirements are embedded for new entities and products.
• Contribute to tax projects such as transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Develop and improve internal tax processes, controls and reporting.
• Monitor tax developments in key jurisdictions and integrate them into planning.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant tax experience in practice (Big 4 or mid‑tier) or a mix of practice and in‑house roles.
• Strong grounding in corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Experience with international or multi‑jurisdictional tax work.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
