IT Security Analyst – Hybrid (Leatherhead)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join a leading UK organisation on a 16‑week contract. Working hybrid from Leatherhead, you will help protect critical business systems, respond to emerging threats and promote cyber‑security best practice across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Support security operations, incident investigations and response activities.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to investigate threats and security alerts.
• Conduct cyber‑threat intelligence research, identifying emerging risks, Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and attacker Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
• Assist investigations and remediation using Microsoft Defender XDR and the broader Microsoft Defender suite.
• Lead cyber‑security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations using KnowBe4.
• Produce regular compliance reports and user‑engagement metrics.
• Create engaging security‑awareness content for staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT Security Analyst.
• BPSS clearance required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and start immediately.
