Junior Aerodynamics Performance Engineer

About the role

As a Junior Aerodynamics Performance Engineer you will support the development of a Formula One car, applying your knowledge of fluid dynamics to improve aerodynamic efficiency. You will work closely with multiple engineering groups to turn data‑driven insights into measurable performance gains on the track.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse aerodynamic components using CFD and wind‑tunnel testing.
• Optimise aerodynamic performance to enhance vehicle efficiency and stability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate aero insights into overall car design.
• Analyse track and test data to identify development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with F1 regulations while supporting testing, reporting and innovation activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and fluid‑dynamics principles.
• Experience with CFD, wind‑tunnel testing and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, motivated and passionate about Formula One.
