Junior Paraplanner – Path to Financial Adviser – London

About the role

Join a fast‑growing independent financial planning firm that manages £200m of client assets and adds roughly £50m each year. This junior paraplanner position offers a clear development pathway to a client‑facing Financial Adviser role, working with high‑net‑worth individuals, including UK‑based US nationals and affluent UK clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior advisers in preparing comprehensive financial plans covering pensions, investments, protection, inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Gain exposure to specialist international and cross‑border planning, including QROPS.
• Manage an average client portfolio of around £800,000 under supervision.
• Leverage a strong introducer network that provides high‑quality referrals from law firms, accountancy practices, tax advisers and foreign‑exchange specialists.
• Transition to a client‑facing adviser role with full administrative support once qualified.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a paraplanner.
• Currently studying a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Good technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships.
• Ambitious, proactive and committed to a long‑term career in financial advice.
