About the role
Reed Education is seeking a dedicated KS1 Supply Teacher to support a vibrant primary school in Eastbourne. The role involves delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum on a temporary basis, ensuring continuity of learning for young pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and tailor support to help every child achieve their potential.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching KS1 or in a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
