KYC Onboarding Associate

About the role

The KYC Onboarding Associate is responsible for conducting the customer onboarding process, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC regulations. The role requires diligence, analytical ability and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Key responsibilities

• Perform client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks in line with regulatory requirements.
• Verify documentation and ensure onboarding processes meet internal and external compliance standards.
• Identify and escalate potential risks or red flags to the KYC Onboarding Manager.
• Serve as the first point of contact for KYC‑related queries, providing timely responses to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities in internal systems.
• Support audits, reporting and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of onboarding procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline pressure.
• Analytical, process‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel to the London office once a month.
