Lead Project Manager – BNI Piping (MEHA)

About the role

Sizewell C is seeking a Lead Project Manager for the Balance of Nuclear Island (BNI) Piping programme within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Alliance (MEHA). The role will guide the programme from Financial Close through the start of on‑site construction, shaping strategy, planning and execution for one of the UK’s most complex nuclear projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of the BNI Piping programme during Phase 1.
• Define execution plans, delivery strategies, schedules and cost estimates.
• Engage suppliers, manage qualification activities and support bulk procurement and spool‑fabrication strategies.
• Champion Modern Methods of Construction, modularisation and off‑site manufacturing.
• Coordinate interfaces across the MEHA, Sizewell C, Civil Works Alliance and other stakeholders.
• Lead a high‑performing team, providing direction, coaching and issue escalation.
• Identify and manage programme risks, opportunities and dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with experience delivering large‑scale, highly regulated engineering programmes.
• Strategic thinker capable of navigating complex interfaces and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication and team‑leadership abilities within a matrix organisation.
