Learning & Development Advisor

About the role

As a Learning & Development Advisor you will join a market‑leading logistics company and become a trusted partner to business leaders. You will shape the learning strategy, design programmes and ensure employees have access to high‑quality development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, identifying learning needs across the organisation.
• Lead L&D projects including needs analysis, programme design, supplier selection and implementation.
• Source, evaluate and manage external training providers to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Develop, update and maintain learning content and programmes aligned with business objectives.
• Upload and administer content on online learning platforms and introduce innovative digital solutions.
• Produce reports and insights on learning activity using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Manage and coach a team of two L&D Coordinators.
• Respond to enquiries, build stakeholder relationships and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Coordinate school and community outreach and support apprenticeship programmes.

Required profile

• Experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development or a related HR discipline.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities, handling multiple priorities.
• Proven track record designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

What we offer

• £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
• Hybrid working (4 days office, 1 day remote)
• Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑4:00 pm or 9:00 am‑5:00 pm
