Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Flexible Opportunities

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of schools in South East England. In this role you will help students with diverse learning needs to access the curriculum, build confidence and develop social‑emotional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils, including those with SEND.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encourage student engagement, positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Support the development of pupils’ social and emotional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff.

Required profile

• Positive, patient and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with young people.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of supporting learners with additional needs.
