Locum Supervising Social Worker – Hybrid (Lincoln)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join a small independent fostering agency on a locum basis in Lincoln, East Midlands. The position offers a hybrid working model with home‑based flexibility, foster carer visits and occasional office days.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to a caseload of approximately seven foster carers across North‑East Lincolnshire.
• Conduct home visits and assess fostering placements in line with current legislation.
• Collaborate with agency staff to develop best practices and innovative approaches.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation without using Form F.

Required profile

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience working within the fostering sector of children’s services.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of current fostering legislation.
