M&A Analyst to Associate – Oil & Gas & Energy Transition

About the role
We are seeking an ambitious analyst to join the EMEA Energy Group of a US boutique investment bank in London. The role covers the Oil & Gas sector and the emerging Energy Transition space, with progression from Analyst 2 to Associate 1.
Key responsibilities
- Execute day‑to‑day work on M&A and other corporate finance transactions across the Oil & Gas sector.
- Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research.
- Support origination efforts and prepare client presentations.
- Assist senior bankers in developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Required profile
- Prior or current experience in Oil & Gas M&A, preferably within an Industrials or Natural Resources group.
- Strong interest in specializing in the Energy Transition space.
- Demonstrated ability to work on live transactions.
