Methodology Review Summer Intern

About the role

The Methodology Review Summer Intern will support Moody's Methodology Review Group (MRG) in its core activities, including methodology review, approval, and rating committee processes. This 10‑week, full‑time internship offers exposure to credit rating methodology and the chance to contribute to real business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MRG in managing processes related to methodology review, approval, and rating committee reviews.
• Prepare methodology review memos and approval documents.
• Participate in the review of methodology and CRQT approvals submitted to MRG.
• Produce accurate MRG and regulatory reporting on schedule.
• Support automation initiatives, creating dashboards and improving workflows.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in artificial intelligence concepts and responsible AI practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Power BI and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of Python (preferred).
