Mobile Applications Developer

About the role

Miller Homes is on a digital transformation journey managed by the Digital Content Delivery team. The team owns the full development lifecycle of apps that support the customer journey, workforce productivity and best‑practice strands of the digital strategy. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated developer with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to help deliver these projects.

Key responsibilities

• Development, improvement, and maintenance of new and existing smartphone apps and webapps.
• Ensure ongoing reliability, security, and performance by regularly patching vulnerabilities, updating dependencies, and keeping the codebase current with the latest libraries, frameworks, and OS versions.
• Provide ongoing support and technical expertise for existing apps and creation of new apps as required.
• Provide second‑line support for employees regarding all business applications.

Required profile

• Essential technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, and VS Code.
• Desirable experience with React Native, Expo (including Expo EAS), Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, multi‑functional, collaborative environment.
• System design or IT‑related college or university degree.
• Minimum 6–12 months experience in a similar IT role.
