Mobile Engineer

About the role

Based at a customer site in Glasgow, the Mobile Engineer plays a vital part in keeping hire equipment operational. You will manage service schedules, respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure that plant assets are maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date equipment service schedules.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and provide on‑site repairs.
• Carry out plant repairs and low‑level access repairs at various sites.
• Perform on‑site inspections to verify equipment condition.
• Support the business unit in delivering the ESG Strategy.

Required profile

• Full driving licence.
• Previous mechanical engineering experience, preferably within the hire industry.
• Experience in plant repairs, low‑level access repairs and on‑site inspections.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
