Mobile Software Engineer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the role

Join a mission‑driven climate‑tech startup that replaces single‑use packaging with IoT and AI. As a Mobile Software Engineer you will lead the migration to Kotlin Multiplatform and ship features that have already prevented 1.6 million pieces of waste.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of consumer‑ and client‑facing mobile applications.
• Drive the transition from native Android/iOS apps to a unified Kotlin Multiplatform codebase.
• Build and integrate lightweight web applications with Apple/Google Wallets to streamline container tracking.
• Collaborate with backend teams, contributing to PHP/Laravel services and occasionally supporting Python‑based software on Linux smart‑bin hardware.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of professional mobile development experience with production‑level Kotlin.
• Strong foundation in native Android development.
• Practical experience or strong enthusiasm for Kotlin Multiplatform and ability to work with iOS frameworks/SwiftUI.
• Startup‑ready mindset comfortable exploring REST APIs, PHP, or Python across the product ecosystem.
