Mortgage & Protection Advisor – Remote & Hybrid

About the role

Join The Openwork Partnership as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor and take control of your earnings while building your own successful advisory business. This self‑employed role offers flexible remote or hybrid working, full administrative and compliance support, and the chance to grow a client portfolio across a wide range of financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored mortgage and protection advice based on each client’s needs and circumstances.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships, managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Develop referral partnerships and actively generate new business through networking, marketing and business‑development activities.
• Ensure all advice and activity complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
• Assess clients’ financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage, protection and related solutions.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in mortgage and protection advice.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded, self‑motivated and focused on delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• CeMAP qualification.
• Knowledge of FCA regulatory framework.
• Expertise in mortgage and protection product suites.
