Multi Trade Operative

About the role

Ian Williams is expanding its Response team in the East Sussex area and is seeking skilled Multi Trade Operatives to carry out reactive repairs in occupied residential properties. You will work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, putting customers at the centre of every repair.

Key responsibilities

• Complete second‑fix tasks such as joinery, plumbing and plastering in occupied homes.
• Attend reactive, emergency and routine repairs, including occasional planned refurbishment in void properties.
• Apply fault‑finding techniques to diagnose and resolve domestic issues.
• Engage with residents and collaborate with team members to ensure high‑quality service.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in domestic or social housing environments (desirable).
• Passion for improving homes and strong customer‑service orientation.
